“…rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…” Psalms 37:7 (NKJV)

As you journey in your walk with God, it is important that you consciously work on your patience. One way to do so, is to seek first the Kingdom of God. The Bible clearly lets us know that we should “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you…” Matthew 6:33. Now, what does this mean? It means that if your passion will be on God and His righteousness, all other things which you require will certainly come to you, but you see, you must be patient to let these things manifest. Sadly, this is where many of God’s people are facing a huge challenge. Many do not want to be patient in their walk with God. They go as far as saying things like “Lord, have you forgotten me?” Lord, why have you chosen to abandon me?” But the question is, did God really abandon them? The answer is a big NO. The fact that what they are looking for is yet to manifest, it doesn’t mean God has abandoned them.

God in His infinite mercy has already said, “do not be afraid- I am with you! I am your God- let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save…” Isaiah 41:10 (GNT). Did you see that? From this, you discover that God does not abandon His own, the only challenge is that many are not patient in their walk with God. They let their desires put them under pressure, which is not supposed to be so. No matter what you face or go through, you can choose to be patient in your walk with God and trust me, when you are patient, God will always come through for you because this is what He specializes in doing. So, as you journey in your walk with God, make a conscious decision to be patient with Him. Do not be in a hurry. It is true that the situation may be very tough, it is true that you may be under a lot of pressure right now, but that is the more reason you need to be patient with God and let His will for your life manifest. Remember, God, makes all things beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Hallelujah!

TODAY’S RHEMA

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

All powerful and everliving father, I thank you for nourishing me with your word today and for bringing clarity into my life.
