“His faith did not leave him, and he did not doubt God’s promise; his faith filled him with power, and he gave praise to God. He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised.” —Romans 4:20–21 (GNB)
Beloved, are you convinced about your walk with God? Are you convinced about the prayers you offer daily? Are you convinced about your relationship with God? I know these questions may sound ridiculous, but think about them. Are you really convinced about what you are doing with God, or has it become a mere religious activity? This is a question you must ask yourself from time to time because it will help you wake up to reality.
Over the years, I have met many believers who faithfully attend church every week, yet their conviction is gone. Many do not even believe in miracles anymore. When they hear about miracles taking place, they claim it is the work of the devil rather than God. Despite this, these same people are always in church. When they begin to argue about miracles and other scriptural truths, you have to wonder what is truly going on in their hearts.
Beloved, one of the things you must settle in your heart is that God is still in the business of miracles, signs, and wonders. If your walk with Him is going to be successful, you must not only believe that He is God but also that He is still changing lives today. You must be convinced beyond all reasonable doubt that your relationship with Him is not a waste of time. So, the next time you pray, do it with conviction. The next time you attend a church service, do it knowing that you are going to meet your Father, who is still doing miracles and blessing His people.
Your faith and conviction will inevitably be tested by situations and the people around you. People may mock you, but refuse to give in to their mockery and choose to stay convinced. When you do this, whatever you are trusting God for will naturally fall into place. In the case of Papa Abraham, he was so convinced that the Bible says, “He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised.” —Romans 4:21 (GNB). Be like Papa Abraham, and rest assured that God is fully capable of doing what He has promised.

Prayer
Father, I am grateful for this insightful teaching. I refuse to walk in doubt and unbelief. I choose to be convinced in all that I do with You. As I walk on this path, I am producing unusual results and prevailing in all areas of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
