“…but also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self –control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love…”
2 Peter 1:5-7 (NKJV)
As you grow in your Christian walk, one of the things you must begin to do is to add to your faith so as to get more results in your faith walk. It is true that Faith is the victory that has overcome the world (1 John 5:4) and through faith we can pull down every stronghold and attract to us all that we desire. But you see faith alone cannot get the job done. You need to add a corresponding action to your faith to make it deliver. In the book of James 2:14, the bible says “what does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?” Did you see that? Now to buttress the point, the Bible says “if a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “…depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? – James 2:15-16 (NKJV), then it says “thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead” James 2:17 (NKJV). That’s a remarkable statement. In the Amplified version, it says “so also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)” This is just powerful, if you can key in to this truth, your life cannot remain the same.
Therefore, I admonish you today to add a corresponding action to your faith in whatever endeavour you are believing God for. Go beyond just praying concerning certain matters to taking necessary steps regarding what you are praying for. For example, if you are praying concerning getting a job, follow it up with aggressive applications for jobs. If you are praying concerning a life partner, follow it up with preparation for the marriage. And the same goes for other areas of your life. Go beyond just the confession and prayers and take necessary steps. Do research in the areas you need to do research, go for business meetings in the area you need to go for business meetings and send out proposals in the area you need to send out proposals. Just do something regarding whatever you are believing God for and there will be a change. Remember, faith, if it does not have works, is inoperative. Praise God!

Glorious Father, I thank you for imparting faith into my spirit the very moment I received Jesus into my life. Therefore, I declare that as I exercise my faith and add corresponding actions to it, I am bearing fruit in all areas and seeing great results in the name of Jesus. Amen!
