“…and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God…” Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

As you grow in your Christian walk, one thing you must do to maintain your glow and scale through the challenges of life, is to allow God’s Word become your mind-set. In other words you start thinking like the Word and thinking in the direction the Word wants you to think. This may sound ridiculous but trust me, it is the best kind of life. We live in a world that is full of all kinds of world views, and the sad thing about this is that many of them are misleading. Now, if you are one who has not immersed himself in the word and has accepted it as his final authority, chances are there, that you could dance to the tune of these misleading thought processes out there. Therefore, it is important that you make a conscious decision as a Christian to submit to God’s word and adopt the thought process that it contains and start living it. If you are able to do this, you will find yourself living a very wonderful life free from sadness and depression. And no matter what you face, you will never be defeated because of the mind-set that comes from the word. So what do you do about this? Start giving attention to it and observing what it says that you may continue in it.
God said to Joshua, “this book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it” Joshua 1:8a (NKJV). Did you see that? That was God’s admonition to Joshua and He specifically said, “…that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it…” meaning, God doesn’t just want us to give attention to His word, He wants us to observe and do it. Now, it is only what you have absolved within you that you can give out or carry out. So it’s important that we take note of this and begin today to adopt the mind-set that the word gives. Interestingly, when we do this, we are the ones who benefits from it because in Joshua 1:8b, God said, if you observe to do according to all that is written in the law, “…then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success…” So get to work today and do the needful. Remember, “…do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Renew your mind with God’s word, adopt the mind-set that it gives and live according to what it says, your life will never be the same!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Thank you heavenly Father for giving us your word to live by, therefore I choose to think the word, work the word and live by the word in all that I do. And I decree that as I do these things, I am making progress and enjoying good success in the name of Jesus. Amen!
