“…but without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him…” Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
You may have heard the saying, “actions speak louder than words”. So I ask you today, what do your actions say about you? Do they reveal fear or faith? Many people are not conscious of this so they do not really know what their actions reveal. But I write this article to you today, that you may become conscious of this area of your life. When you go through difficulties or tough times, it matters how you respond. It matters the actions that you put up. If you are restless and frantic, you are expressing fear not faith. But when you are bold and courageous in the midst of the challenges, then you are expressing faith and not fear. So it is important that you become conscious of how you respond to the challenges that you go through in life. Fear is of the devil but faith is of God. Be conscious of this and refuse to complain or speak like someone without hope because that is fear speaking. I know that sometimes, the challenges of life can be very tough, I know that the pressure can be very serious but that’s why you are a man of faith. You endure whatever you are facing and still maintain your stand in Christ Jesus. It is for this reason the Bible says to us “…you therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ…” 2 Timothy 2:4 (NKJV). Did you see that? So no matter what you go through, maintain your stand in Christ Jesus and let His word strengthen you. Remain the man or woman of faith that you are and remember that your actions speak louder than your words.
Now, you might say, can’t I just express how I feel sometimes? Does that mean am expressing fear? Well, I could easily say you can, but the truth is that, after expressing how you feel, what good does it do? Does it bring the desired change? Certainly not! So why continue in that path? It makes no sense. See, something you must understand is this, fear and faith are laws of nature that are very powerful. They will either work for you or work against you. If you respond in fear, you are putting a negative law to work, and be sure that it will work against you. But if you respond in faith, you are putting a positive law to work, that will eventually work for you and bring you the change you desire, so why not stick to faith?

Be encouraged today to respond in faith and not in fear, the benefits are enormous. Praise God!

Fear and faith are laws of nature that are very strong, they will either work for you or work against you, it’s your choice!

I am a person of faith, therefore I refuse to respond to the situations of life in fear but in faith. I refuse to give in to the pressures of life, for I walk by faith and not by sight. My faith is producing results for me and I am making progress and out shining my past and defeating my adversaries in the name of Jesus. Amen!
