Love under setting sun

“…But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.” Psalm 13:5 (NKJV)

As you grow in your walk with God, one of the most vital disciplines you must develop is learning to trust in His unfailing love. In God’s love, you’ll find protection, provision, health, and everything necessary to live a victorious life. But to experience these benefits, you must train yourself to put your trust in His love, believing that no matter the situation, God’s love for you surpasses every challenge or difficulty.

When you trust in God’s love, you stop worrying or struggling unnecessarily because you carry the assurance in your spirit that everything is under His control. You know that no matter what happens, “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Life’s challenges can sometimes be overwhelming, leading people to utter statements like, “God has abandoned me,” “God is angry with me,” or “God doesn’t love me anymore.” Such words stem from a misunderstanding of God’s nature. Sadly, many have been raised with an incorrect view of God, leading them to doubt His love when faced with difficulties. But none of these statements are true. They only prolong suffering and hinder people from experiencing the fullness of God’s love.

God never abandons anyone. John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” When God sent Jesus to die for you, He didn’t focus on your sins or wrongdoings. Instead, He poured out His love unconditionally. As Romans 5:8 reminds us, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

If God was willing to give His Son for you, will He not graciously give you everything else you need? Romans 8:32 (AMP) says, “He who did not withhold or spare (even) His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—will He not also, with Him, freely and graciously give us all (other) things?”

So, I encourage you today to trust in God’s unfailing love. Be fully persuaded, as Paul was, that nothing can ever separate you from this love. He confidently declared, “…I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39 AMP).

Today’s Rhema

Put your trust in God’s unfailing love and know that nothing can separate you from the love of God!

Confession for the Day

Thank you, Father, for loving me so much that You sent Your Son to die for me. I believe it, I accept it, and I declare that I will always be conscious of Your love for me. My trust will continually be in You and Your love, in Jesus’ name. Amen! Hallelujah!
