“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” — Galatians 6:7-8 (NKJV)
As a believer, if you are going to see a change in your life, you must make a conscious decision to change how you live. Over the years, I have seen people who truly want a transformation, but they are completely unwilling to adjust their habits. They fail to realize that your daily conduct directly determines the outcome of your life. It is impossible to live recklessly and still expect an excellent life story.
Too many people today are living the wrong way. They ignore God and His Word, walk in spiritual error, and harbor negative thoughts. They act carelessly without considering the consequences, speak words of defeat, and believe the wrong things. Yet, they still expect to experience an awesome future. All forms of negativity will always produce negative results.
This is why the Bible admonishes us to put a check on our daily habits. “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV). Today, you will find believers who live and conduct business just like unbelievers. They talk, act, and indulge in all manner of worldly things, yet they still expect to make progress according to the Word. Beloved, it is simply not going to happen that way.
You cannot live a carefree life and expect awesome results. A careless life will always produce reckless outcomes, just as a godless life produces godless results. A prayerless life will always reproduce its own dry condition, and a life full of sin will consistently yield painful consequences. It is written: “…he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption…” — Galatians 6:8 (NKJV).
If you want to avoid a tragic story filled with hurts and disappointments, you must choose to live right. The best way to do that is to align your habits with God’s standards. There is already a prescribed order for your success. Go back to God’s Word and discover how He wants you to live; this is the single best thing you can ever do for yourself. “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” — Ephesians 5:17 (NKJV). Whatever a man sows is exactly what he will reap.

Prayer
Gracious Father, Your words are always wisdom and life to me, and I am most grateful for exposing this truth to me today. I declare that as I go about my daily activities, I live according to how You want me to live. I will think the right thoughts, see the right things, hear the right way, and do the right things by the Holy Ghost who dwells in me. As I do this, I prosper in all things and have a good life story in Jesus’ name. Amen!
