“…for by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” — Matthew 12:37 (NIV)
Most people do not understand why God designed us with a mouth that does more than just eat. God gave us the ability to speak so we could use our words to beautify our lives. Although it sounds strange, your life depends entirely on what you say. Therefore, you must learn to speak words that will transform your circumstances. Sadly, many Christians stay silent when they should be speaking to their situations. They complain constantly but never actually address the problem. As a believer, you must realize that the words that will save you and change your situation are already in your mouth. If you do not speak words that provoke change, your life will remain stagnant. Many difficult situations linger simply because we refuse to speak ourselves into the next level.
As Christians, we cannot afford to keep quiet. We were made to speak, utter decrees, and make declarations to alter our circumstances. Every word you have refused to say is exactly what is holding you back. Conversely, every decree you make releases the power you need for change to come. The Bible confirms this, saying, “Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”” — Ecclesiastes 8:4 (NKJV). Isn’t it amazing that nobody dares to question your authority to speak? Your words carry immense power, and once you speak to a situation, your words reign supreme. Stop waiting for power to come down from heaven to consume your problems. The power is already in your mouth and your spoken words. Speak out now, confess what you need to confess, and pray the prayers you need to pray. We believe with our hearts, but we use our mouths to speak salvation, utter prophecies, and command change.

Thank you Holy Father, for giving me the solution to my life and for giving me the ability to make decrees. I declare that my words are powerful, and I will create my world and change my future with the words of God on my lips in Jesus’ name. Amen!
