MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD IN HEAVEN

“..Now they came to Jericho. He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me…” Mark 10:46-‬48 (NKJV)

In the opening text, we see a man by the name Bartimaeus. He was a blind man. On a certain day, while he was seated by the roadside begging for alms, he heard that Jesus Christ was passing by. And he started to shout out to Jesus, asking Him to have mercy on him. As he shouted, people tried to keep him quiet, but he chose not to listen to them. He continued shouting out to Jesus because he had made up his mind, that his moment to receive a miracle had come. 
In today’s world, believers are too silent and too quiet. People no longer see the point of calling out to God on what bothers them. They prefer to complain to a friend, or worry about the situation or even cry about the situation rather than go to God in prayer. But that is not a prescribed order or guide for a miracle or a change. This only makes the situation last longer than it should. It only delays the testimony that is supposed to come to you. One of the things we must realize as Christians is that; we have a Father who is all powerful. Our Father, the Lord God Almighty can do anything and everything. And every time you are in a situation that you don’t like He simply expects you to talk to him about it, and when you don’t, its impossible to get the result that you want. As we can see in the case of blind Bartimaeus, he didn’t want to stay blind anymore so he called out to Jesus and Jesus answered him and his sight was restored. Beloved, be encouraged and learn to always go to God in prayer because he has the answer that you need. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for making yourself available to me and giving me the liberty to approach in prayers concerning my life and needs. I declare that I take full advantage of the access you have given me and will always call out to you. You are my first option every time I need something done. Thank you, Lord. Amen!
