A very common mistake in our world today is the misconception that Christianity is a religion, or that Christianity is like any other religion in the world. Sadly, it’s wrong. Christianity is not a religion but life itself, and cannot be compared to any religion. The understanding of Christianity as life helps you to know that the salvation you have received is more about the spirit than about your body. So many people in the world have been confused by different tales about Jesus Christ, some of which have made a lot of people think that the truth about salvation is too good to be true. Some people think it’s just too easy, that a man would just say some confessions with his mouth and become a new man. They feel life isn’t that easy and the road to heaven is a difficult one. But my news for you today is that, the salvation of our soul is the easiest thing God made possible for us and it’s as easy as just confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ and receiving redemption. This is the first truth any one must believe in order to receive salvation. The Bible says, “For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. “1 Corinthians 1:21 (NKJV). Therefore, from the scripture, we see that though the thoughts that believing and making a confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ will give you salvation may sound stupid, it doesn’t make it a lie. As a Christian, one of the things you must believe is what the bible says about salvation. Many would come to you asking you to prove that Jesus really died or that He resurrected. Many will tell you that salvation can only be achieved by works and not by the death of one man. Many will tell you that Jesus Christ never resurrected but you must stand firm in your faith, understanding that the gospel is the truth and everything contrary to the word of God is a lie. God has chosen that salvation should be received by faith and in confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and that is all that matters. I therefore encourage you with the word of God and stay focused in faith because you have been saved! Amen!

The road to salvation is not difficult, it’s as easy as believing and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ!
CONFESSION OF THE DAY
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for making my salvation so easy. I thank you for the grace to believe in Jesus and to confess His Lordship. I therefore seize this moment to declare once again that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my saviour because when He died, He died in my name. Now I’m a new creation. Amen!
