“…he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him”- 1 Corinthians 6:17

Sometimes the devil tries to play a fast one on many people by making them think that their relationship with God isn’t that concrete enough but you see no matter how the devil tries, he cannot change certain truth about our ties with God. The day you gave your life to Christ, you became a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), a new being superior to the devil which never existed before and that brought you oneness with God. In 1 Corinthians 6:17, the Bible clearly declares that “…he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him” which means your spirit is joined with God inseparably.  You have become spiritually one with Him and therefore all that exists in God now exist in you. His very nature, health, image, and likeness reside in you.

From this, you discover that no matter how the devil tries to play a fast one, he cannot change this truth and this makes it impossible for him to afflict you or oppress you because the spiritual environment that covers you cannot accommodate the devil in any way. In fact, the devil cannot function there because that’s where God lives; it is far beyond his jurisdiction. So as a child of God, your responsibility is to take advantage of your relationship with God and reign in life. Do not allow the devil to breathe thoughts into you. Upgrade your life with this knowledge and live in the reality of it. It doesn’t matter what comes your way sometimes, refuse to be moved by them, give it no attention and pray your way to the top. Nothing can change your relationship with God your Father. You are joined to Him and that is final.

TODAY’S RHEMA

You are joined to the Lord and nothing can change that!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

I am joined together with God; therefore I am one with Him, nothing can afflict me nor oppress me, greater is He that is in me than he that is the world. I reign and rule in my world, I am in charge of any situation that comes my way because I am joined with the Lord. Halleluiah
