“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…” Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

As Christians, it is necessary to ask ourselves questions concerning our faith; questions concerning what we believe, so we can actually be sure that our faith and beliefs are still in office. So I ask you today, where does your confidence lie? What is the truth in the Word of God upon which your faith stands? Is your confidence in God? Does your confidence lie in the power and ability of God or in money and material wealth? Do you have confidence in the Name of Jesus or have you lost sight of the power in the Name? When you find yourself facing challenges, what does your attitude towards the challenge look like? Does it show that you have confidence in God? Does it show that God is the solid rock upon which you stand? These and many more are the areas you need to check in your life so that if you have been straying away from the truth, you can put yourself back on track.

You must understand that it is God’s desire for every one of us to put our confidence in Him because He is able to do the unimaginable in our lives and what He has started in us He will finish. I want you to know that it is God’s desire for you to have a good life, a life that displays His power and His grace. It is His desire for you to manifest His presence in your life. Therefore, your confidence must be in Him without any doubts. Knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Hallelujah!

Gracious Heavenly Father, I declare that my confidence is in you in all things and at all times. Therefore, I can do all things because you are my strength, my Way and my opportunity in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
