“…and so, it is written, the first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit…” – 1 Corinthians 15:45
One of the beautiful things about Christianity, is that it is not a religion but a relationship with the father that brings life. And this life causes us to give life to anything that we come in contact with. In our opening scripture, the Bible lets us know that the first man Adam whom God created became a living being but the second Adam Jesus Christ, became a life-giving Spirit. Now the significance of this, is that those of us who are in Christ Jesus has also become like Him for the Bible says “as was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly…”- 1 Corinthians 15:48-49 As He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17) So you see that we have received the same life which also was in Christ.
Jesus is a life-giving Spirit and so are we, but the question is, what do we do with this? How does it benefit us? Well, we ought to take advantage of it and let it become our consciousness. Being a life-giving Spirit means that first, we are the epitome of life itself. We are full of life and all that life brings. Also, we distribute life to anywhere we go and to anybody that we meet. It doesn’t matter how long death might have flourished in the life of a man, or in a place, when we arrive, life comes and death goes. This is one truth that you must come to terms with in your walk with God because this is who we are in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I encourage you today to live your life accordingly. Refuse to allow anything that concerns you to pack up because you have the ability in you to give life to that thing. It may be your business or job, or marriage, whatever it is, you have the ability to revive it and give it life. So, take advantage of this truth and start acting like the life giver that you are. CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
Am a life-giving spirit, therefore I speak life to my body, my business, my career, and everything that concerns me. I decree that by reason of the life-giving nature at work in me, not shall wither or pack up around me in the name of Jesus. Amen!
