I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” —Psalm 122:1 (NKJV)
Having established the importance of becoming passionate about the house of the Lord in the first part of this article, my question to you is this: how much do you value the house of your Heavenly Father? What do you think about the house of the Lord? Do you love spending time in His presence? What sacrifices are you willing to make to be consistently available in His house?
Until you find the right answers to these questions, certain areas of your Christian walk will remain unchanged. You will be no different from unbelievers who are busy living only for themselves instead of living for God. Beloved, refuse to be among those who must constantly be reminded to attend church. When you reach a point where you feel forced to attend or participate in church activities, it reveals a lack of love for God and the things that truly matter to Him. In reality, it means you love the world more than you love God. While this may sound harsh, it is simply the truth.
Therefore, I encourage you to renew your mind in this area. Whenever you fail to see a reason to gather in the house of the Lord, it indicates that your love for God is not yet fully established. People often say, “Just because I don’t go to church doesn’t mean I don’t love God. I love Him, and He sees my heart, so don’t judge me.” I don’t know what your idea of love looks like, but true love is always demonstrated through action. If you genuinely love someone, you naturally want to be around them so you can know them more deeply.
So, beloved, if you truly love God, prove it by prioritizing time in your busy schedule to be present in His house. Do not stop at just attending; serve in His house and boldly display your love for Him. He is worthy of it. Praise God!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me understand what true love is and showing me how to demonstrate my love for You. I declare that as I carry on with my busy schedule, time for You and Your house will always be set aside, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
