“…silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength…” Acts 3:6-7 (NKJV)

Have you ever been in a situation and you have nothing left to fight with? Do you sometimes feel helpless? Well, I have good news for you. The man in Christ cannot be helpless because He has the Holy Ghost dwelling in Him and not only that, He has the name of Jesus Christ with which he can get victory at all times. But the sad news is that too many of God’s people are not aware of this wonderful possession. Some are quite aware but they don’t really see how the Name of Jesus Christ can bring them the victory that they desire. So they ignore the name and try to go after victory in their own strength which in many cases ends up in futility. And then they wonder if this thing called Christianity is real, because their challenges speaks otherwise. They forget that the only reason they have not gotten the victory they desire is because they are not taking advantage of the name of Jesus which has been given to us to chart our course through life.

So I want to encourage you today, to take advantage of the name of Jesus Christ and use it to secure and establish your victory. It is one of the greatest weapons given to us in the body of Christ. If you would use it with revelation, I guarantee that your life will not remain the same. Peter the Apostle had a revelation of how powerful this name is and he took advantage of it. A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb asked him alms, but instead of giving him alms, Peter said “…silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength…” Acts 3:6-7 (NKJV). Now, I want you to take note of the statement Peter made here, he said “…silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you…” He knew he had something which is the name of Jesus and in the end, the man walked. He got way more than the alms that he was asking for. Beloved, you too can get more than you are looking for today, if only you would realize that you have something that you can use. Therefore, use the name today in faith and in commitment, and you will be surprised what the outcome will be like. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

If you would use the name of Jesus committedly and in faith, there is no telling the kind of miracle that will abound in your life!
