“…In the beginning was the word…. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men…” —John 1:1, 4 (NKJV)

The message is the word of God, the light is the brightness that the word unveils, and the life is the effect of this brightness on man. Can we separate these three from each other? Can a man receive the message and not receive its light? Can a man radiate with the light of God and not be a beneficiary of his life? No, we can’t separate these three. They all work together bearing witness to each other. When you step into a home and you notice that the life of God flows through the inhabitants of that house you can easily know that it was as a result of the presence of the message, which is the word of God. In the book of Acts 28:3-5, the bible shows us how Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ, was bitten by a viper and people expected him to die. But when they noticed he didn’t die, they said he was a god. What they saw in him was the life of God. That’s why Paul was able to say, “…. for indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them…” Hebrews 4:2. This scripture shows that the reason Paul Got the life was that he got the message and the message came with its light, which now radiated in his life and gave him divine life. No man comes in contact with the message of the gospel and doesn’t receive a transformation.

Having witnessed the transformative power of the message of the gospel myself, this is all I have to give anyone willing to listen. “When you have the word, you have a solution that money cannot buy, you have the answer that everyone seeks after.” So, to enjoy life just the way Jesus Christ enjoyed it, or the way Paul or John or Peter enjoyed it. We should first all think to have the message. And to have the message is to dine with the message, to relish it and to carry the message in our heart everywhere we go. If you can do this, the entrance of the message in our life will flood our heart with light, and bring about the life that we want, and desire so dearly. So, don’t waste time, the year is fresh and ready for you. Start your Bible plan for the year today, and begin to enjoy the life of God in your spirit.

TODAY’S RHEMA

When you have the word, you have a solution that money cannot buy!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Father! I thank you because this day, you have made a day of joy, by opening my mind to exactly what’s missing in my life and opening my mind to the solution. I take advantage of the availability of the word of God and I activate that life of God in me right now in Jesus’ name. Amen!
