“…to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted…” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 (NKJV)

According to the text above, we see that for everything in life, there is a time. But sadly, that is not what many people want today, they want everything to happen as fast as possible. They don’t really care if it will affect their future or cost them their life, they just want it now. This is the reason for all manner of crime in the world today, people are going out to do all manner of things just because they want to make money. But the truth remains that, if you disobey the law of process, the ill-effects will catch up with you one day. It is that simple. So I encourage you today to abide to the law of process. Sometimes, abiding to this law is all you need to get victory in some matters. I know this might sound ridiculous but that is just the truth. Sometimes, when we go through some trials in life, even though it might have been orchestrated by the devil, it might just be what we need to go through a process that will help us grow up to face the future that we desire. Some of the challenges we go through in life, are not always for our detriment but for our own good. So you must learn to appreciate every moment and don’t force things.

In the book of Exodus 23:28-30, the Bible gives us an account of how God spoke of applying this law of process. The Israelites had been set free from the land of Egypt and now brought to the Promised Land, so God started telling them what to do and what He will do. Among the things He said to them was, “…I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land…” Did you see that? God said, “I will not drive them out from before you in one year…” and He gave the reason for it. He said so that the land will not become desolate and the beasts become too numerous. God knew the importance of the law of process and He applied it. You too should do the same. Whatever endeavour you are involved in, always allow the law of process to have its way and stop being in a hurry. You are the one to benefit from it in the long run. Halleluiah!
