“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God…” — Ephesians 6:14-17 (NKJV)
Recently, I shared a message about having confidence in the salvation you have received. Today, I want to emphasize the importance of knowing that salvation is also a vital part of the armour of God. Do you realize that your salvation is not ordinary, but an actual weapon designed to protect you from the devil’s harm? Many people remain unaware of this, failing to take advantage of such a powerful truth. Consequently, they allow the enemy to manipulate and afflict them because he thrives on their ignorance. This is exactly why I am bringing this reality to your attention today.
The salvation you received is not just a ticket to escape hell and make it to heaven; God also gave it to you to help you overcome and defeat the wiles of the devil. Remember, our ultimate enemy is the devil, and he will stop at nothing to see you frustrated. But when you realize that your salvation acts as a protective helmet in the realm of the spirit, you will no longer leave room for his manipulation. Because your mind is spiritually protected, the devil cannot easily mess with your head or have his way in your life.
Therefore, I encourage you to live every day in the reality of this truth. Always remember that as a Christian, you are commanded to put on the whole armour of God, and salvation is a crucial part of it. As Scripture instructs, “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God…” — Ephesians 6:14-17 (NKJV). Do everything you can to keep this armour on at all times, and your life will never be a playground for the devil. Hallelujah!
Today’s Rhema
As long as you are wearing the helmet of salvation, your life will not be a playground for the devil!
Prayer
Glorious and ever-living Father, I thank You for the gift of salvation. I am grateful for the privilege to be saved. I decree today that the helmet of salvation will remain on my head, and no manipulation of the devil will prevail over my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
