“…and not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He promised He was also able to perform.…” Romans 4:19-22 (NKJV)

As you journey in your Christian walk, one of the ways in which you put your faith to work, is by taking faith actions. It is your faith actions that actually get the job done and make your heart’s desires to come to pass. You can’t claim to have faith and let your actions speak otherwise. You can’t say you have faith and yet you still feel depressed from time to time. You can’t say you are walking in faith and you are still walking in doubt, fear and discouragement. It doesn’t work that way, if you truly have faith, then your faith should show in your actions. Remember, your actions speak louder than your words. So, make a conscious decision to take faith actions in all that concerns you. Take faith actions in the area where you are facing challenges. Don’t get discouraged and think all hope is lost, instead cheer up, chin up and face that situation with boldness and confidence in the promises of God. Refuse to allow that challenge you are currently facing to put pressure on you or intimidate you because those things are only temporary. If you can take faith actions in the heat of the pressure, the pressure will bow and you will emerge a victor.

Papa Abraham took faith actions in the face of defeat and his faith prevailed. The bible recorded that “…not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He promised He was also able to perform.…” Romans 4:19-21 (NKJV). Did you see that? He knew his body was dead, he knew that Sarah’s womb had become too old to be able to handle a child, but the reality of God’s promise was stronger than the reality of nature which he could see. So instead of setting his gaze on the reality of nature, he chose to hold on to the reality of the promise of God to him. He chose to behold the invisible and let go of the visible. And in the end, the Bible declares that it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 4:22). His faith prevailed and the promises of God were fulfilled in his life because he took faith actions in the face of defeat. Beloved, do you want to prevail and see the promises of God manifest in your life? I encourage you to take faith actions no matter the situation. Praise God!
