“…God gave the word and great is the company that published it…” – Psalms 68:11 (KJV)
Having established the truth about getting involved in spreading the good news, it is important we understand why this must be done. Because if this is not understood, the passion to get involved will not be there. So, let’s see what the scripture says. In the book of Romans 10:14-15, it says “…how then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent…? From this, it is obvious that if one is not sent, the message of God’s liquid love will not spread and those who are destined to receive the good news through you will never receive it. So, choose this day to be the preacher in your catchment area. You are already commissioned for this purpose. Do the work of an evangelist and start with your family members, extend it to your friends and neighbors out there. Do it consistently and fill heaven with joy.
You might say but where can I start from? Well, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and let Him guide on where to start from, who to meet and what to say. But while that is happening, you can consider sharing this daily devotional with your contact list on a daily basis. Over the years, many have testified of how God touched their lives through the devotional and the only reason they testified was because someone decided to share it with others. I remember some years ago, a young man in India received the devotional but did not read it. Instead, he kept it in his drawer and one day as his father was going through his drawer to know what his son was reading, he came across the printed copy of the devotional. So, he began to read it and as he did, he was delivered from a very long-term depression and he was so overjoyed that he called the church office to testify of the goodness of God. So, start with your contact list, put the daily articles on your whatsapp story, share it with your friends and family and watch God use your inputs to bring many to Jesus. Remember, those that turn many to righteousness, shall shine like the stars forever and ever (Daniel 12:3). Get to work and play your part. Praise God1

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
Father in the name of Jesus, your Word has come to me today to stir me up and move me out of my comfort zone; therefore, I take this word and I run with it. This day I dedicate my life to spreading the goodness of the finished work of Jesus Christ. I pledge to put in my time, my resources and everything within my reach to get the message to someone and as I do this, lives are being changed in Jesus’ name. Amen!
