“…now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony…” Hebrews 11:1-2 (NKJV)

As you run the race this year, one of the things you must make a conscious decision to do is to run with faith. And the reason is that faith is one of your most important assets this year. You know that every year, lots and lots of things take place. There are happenings around the world that may put fear in you, there are events that may take place in your life that may shake your faith. There are circumstances you could find yourself that may even give you an emotional trauma, but all in all, your faith will determine if you will come out of these victoriously or not. When your faith is active, no matter what you face or go through or hear, it will not affect you because you are running by faith and not by sight. So, I encourage you this year to run with faith. Refuse to allow anything to take that from you. It is true that you will encounter some things that will shake your faith, but maintain your faith in the promises of God and in His word and your life will not remain the same.

The Bible lets us know that by faith, the elders obtained a good report (Hebrews 11:2). You too can obtain a good report this year irrespective of the things you may go through. Why? Because faith is a law that always delivers when it is put to work. You might say but what if the pressure becomes too much, is it really easy to just shrug it off as though nothing is happening? Well, I didn’t say it will be that easy, what I said is that no matter what you face, if you will maintain your faith, you will surely prevail over that situation and come out victoriously. Paul the Apostle said something striking that I would like to bring to your attention, he said “…we are hard pressed on every side yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed – always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body…”2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (NKJV). Did you see that? This lets us know that, even though they went through a lot, they maintained their stand in faith and in the end, they prevailed. Beloved, you too can prevail, you just need to run the race this year with faith. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

As long as you keep your faith in the Word and promises of God, you will always prevail!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your Word today, I decree this day that as I run the race this year, I am running with faith and no matter what I face or go through, I refuse to walk by sight but by faith in the name of Jesus. Amen!
