“…be anxious for nothing but in everything through prayer and supplication, make your request known unto God…” Philipians 4:6 (NKJV)

The topic for today’s reflections sounds simple but yet very profound. One thing that has stolen the joy and happiness of a lot of God’s people is worrying. The challenges and complications of life have led them into this place where all they do is worry about the situations and circumstances that surround them. But the question is, will worrying fix the issues that they are disturbed about? The answer is no, instead it makes matters worse and in most cases, it even causes their health to deteriorate, which is not God’s plan for us. So in order to make sure this does not become your experience, you must make sure you quit worrying and start going in the direction of solutions.

Now, you might say what’s the direction of the solution? It it is simple. Our opening text gives us an idea of what we ought to be doing instead of worrying. It says  “…be anxious for nothing but in everything through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving make your request known unto God…” Philippians 4:6 ( NKJV) Did you see that? As simple as this might sound, it holds the key to the solutions you are looking for. I know that there are times when the pressure becomes so much but in the midst of the pressure, if you can apply this simple principle, you will always have the victory and guess what, the Bible says in Philippians 4:6 -7 “…that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ….” Hallelujah! So I admonish you today in the Lord, quit worrying and making your request known unto God.

TODAY’S RHEMA

Worry will not get you the answers, only peace will and that can only begotten through making your request known unto God!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Thank you Heavenly Father for this wonderful counsel you have brought to me today. I choose to stop worrying from henceforth and as I do, the grace to receive solutions rest on me in Jesus. Amen
