“…no grave trouble will overtake the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil…” Proverbs 12:21 (NKJV)

As a believer, the devil will stop at nothing to make sure he brings in several challenges to drown you and distract you from the faith. In most cases he will push you to the wall, he will make you lose a lot of things and sometimes even your health will be on the line. But you know what? No matter how the devil tries, if you choose to stand your ground on the provisions of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you will not drown in that situation but you will come out victoriously, because according to the scriptures, the Bible says “…no grave trouble will overtake the righteous…” Proverbs 12:21 (NKJV). Did you see that? The question is, how much do you believe such a statement? When you are going through these challenges, what do you hold on to? The severity of your challenge or the reality of God’s word? The problem that many face today, is that they hold on to the severity of their challenges and not the reality of God’s word, which ought not to be so.

Therefore, I admonish you today to make God’s word your strong hold and the finished work of Jesus, your reality. If you are able to do this, even though challenges may arise you will surely win, because these challenges have no roots, but the word of God and the provisions of the works of Jesus Christ are roots themselves. So, refuse to be discouraged, distracted or depressed, stand your ground and always remember that, that situation cannot drown you. The Bible already says to us, “…no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it…”1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV). So, as long as you keep holding on to this truth, there will always be a way of escape for you. It may tarry and look as though nothing will happen, but this is where you need to endure, so that you can prevail. Hallelujah!

TODAY’S RHEMA

The challenges you face, have no roots, if you hold on a bit longer, they will pass away!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Glorious and Ever-living Father, I thank you for revealing the truth to me, I choose this day to hold on to your word and to the provisions of the finished works of Jesus Christ. I decree that as I do this, I am coming out of every situation triumphantly and victoriously in the name of Jesus. Amen!
