“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV)

Most times, when people find themselves in difficult situations, they feel it’s because God has left them. But the truth is, just because you’re going through a tough moment doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. Do not allow the enemy to make you believe that lie.

I often say that no matter what you face in life, refuse to think that God has forsaken you, because the Scriptures tell us otherwise. According to the scripture in our opening text above, no matter what situation you find yourself in, God is with you—and His presence is the proof that you will come out victorious when the time comes.

All that is required of you is to maintain your stand in God, keep your faith alive, and continue walking in righteousness. Refuse to compromise or give in to the pressures of the enemy. Refuse to utter words the enemy wants you to speak. Be like Job, who refused to curse God or charge Him with wrongdoing (Job 1:22 NKJV). In the end, Job received double what he had lost. Be like Joseph, who, despite everything he went through, maintained the fear of the Lord and lived righteously—and in the end, he was promoted.

Remember, even while Joseph was in prison, the Bible says, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”Genesis 39:21 (NKJV)

So I admonish you today: live your life in the consciousness of this truth. Know that God is with you in that situation, and victory is yours in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Today’s Rhema

No matter the situation you find yourself in, God is with you—and that’s the proof you will surely come out victorious when the time comes!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for being with me and in me. Thank You for giving me victory through Christ Jesus. Henceforth, I refuse to believe the lies of the devil. I choose to put my trust in Your promises, knowing that no matter what I go through, You are with me. Amen!
