“…for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…” John 3:16 (NKJV)
If you ask most people today, where they will be after they depart from this world, I guarantee you that seventy percent will tell you that they are not sure. And interestingly, this includes Christians. They will tell you they are not certain where they will be, because even though they have received Jesus into their lives, they aren’t sure if they will make heaven or not because of some errors they may be walking in or the mistakes, they may have been making over the years. Well, if you are reading this article right now, and you have not been too certain where you will be after your life on earth, I have news for you. You will most certainly be with Jesus, because He became your substitute in judgement, took your place in death and paid the ultimate price with His blood, so that you can be with Him at the end of time. He did it so that at the end of the day, you will be qualified to be with the father after this life on earth. Now, your responsibility is live every day in the consciousness of the truth and refuse to allow the devil to make you think otherwise. When He did all that He did for you, He did it to become your ark. Like Noah’s ark, once you are in Christ Jesus, you are already in a safe place, except you choose to reject Him in the course of your Christian journey.
So I admonish you to have faith in Jesus not just as your Lord and saviour but as your ark of safety and security. He is your life insurance both in this world, in the life after this world and in the world to come. All that is expected of you is, to align yourself with His words and do His will. Because in aligning to His words, that’s where the safety is. Refuse to act on your own or follow your own opinion. Because to follow your own opinion and fleshly desires is death, but to follow His own opinion and desires for you is life. He has said, “…whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.”- Matthew 7:24-26 (NKJV). Did you see that? Therefore, stake your life on Jesus and His principles because He is not just the Lord of your life but your ark of safety. Praise God!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
Glorious God, I thank you for securing my life in Christ Jesus. I thank you for giving me insurance in this world and in the world to come. By the power of your Spirit, I will continue to live conscious of this truth now and all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
