“…fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses…” 1 Timothy 6:18 (NKJV)

In my Christian walk, I have been opportuned to see different people who have had great success; and others who have been faced with serious challenges. Many after a series of challenges, never came out victorious while some came out triumphantly. One striking similarity amongst those who could not come out victoriously was the level of their doubts and the hold their challenges had on them. The problems they were faced with, felt so overwhelming that they could not master the ability to tread on it.

As Christians, we must understand that life is a journey, and it’s not a short one at all. So, we are required to have strength for long journeys and not quit under pressure. You can’t win in life if you quit too easily. You can’t win in life if you don’t have a staying stamina. How your journey in life will end is largely dependent on how willing, you are to fight for what you want. How long you are able to stay on your faith in the midst of a trial determines the victory you receive in that trial.

Therefore, one thing you must understand and come to terms with is, “The devil cannot take what belongs to you if your faith is alive.” The devil only has access to tamper with a man’s life when he has successfully destroyed his faith. This is the reason he throws before men challenges and trials. When he does this, he hopes that you will cave under the pressure of what you are facing. But I advise that you should not fall for his old and ancient tricks because no trial has a long life span. If you can hold on to your faith as you battle your challenges, before you know it, the challenges will disappear and you will be free. So my advice to you today is to keep your faith alive. Don’t let your faith die because without your faith you can’t win the battles in your life. It was for this reason the Bible says, “…the just shall live by faith…”- Romans 1:17 (NKJV)

TODAY’S RHEMA

Faith is the victory that overcomes every challenge, don’t lose it under pressure!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Thank you gracious Father for putting in me the seeds of faith that are required to turn my life around. I hold on to my faith in your ability to give me my expected end; and I declare that the devil can’t steal what you have given me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
