“…then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him…” Malachi 3:18 (NKJV)

An evil I have seen in our world today is the way people live their lives without God. They ignore God and give attention to all other things in this world. They love the world and its pleasures more than they love God. When you speak to them about coming to church and taking Kingdom activities seriously, they laugh at you as though you are foolish. But when it comes to the things of the world, they embrace it with all their heart and give it all their time. But you see, that’s not the kind of life God has called us to live as Christians. The Bible says “…do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be friends of the world makes himself an enemy of God…” James 4:4 (NKJV) Therefore, beloved “…do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever…”1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV)
Now, the question is what’s the will of the father for our lives on this matter? The answer is found in the book of Matthew 6:33, the bible says “…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you…” meaning, whatever we do, our main priority is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness before any other thing. And to add to that, we have to love the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind (Matthew 22:37 (NKJV). Beloved, when you do this, God says “…those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. They shall be Mine, says the Lord of Hosts, “on the day that I make them my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him”. “…then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him…” Malachi 3:18 (NKJV). Did you see that? So make a conscious decision today serve God with all your heart. Let Him be your number one priority and you will be shocked how decorated your life will become. Praise God!
