“…till I come, give attention to reading…”1 Timothy 4:13 (NKJV)

Having established the importance of giving attention to reading, someone might say, but I have been doing this for quite some time now, but I haven’t noticed any significant result in my life. Well, the only explanation for this is that it is possible when you study, you are not understanding or you may not be studying with proper attention. You know it is possible to study the Bible and not understand anything. There are far too many people who are at this place in their lives, they study quite alright but they never understand anything. While there are those who study but don’t meditate on the word. Beloved, if you are in any of these categories, I have good news for you. Before you study the Bible, you must learn to ask the Holy Spirit, to teach you and give you understanding of the scriptures. As simple as this might sound, it is important to know that it works wonders. In my early days as a believer, I faced this issue, and one day I learnt this truth, that I am sharing with you now. I made up my mind to speak to the Holy Ghost, and from that day when I study, I do receive understanding and revelations from the Holy Spirit. You too can do the same, if you will speak to the Holy Spirit about this.

Refuse to allow anything or anybody discourage you from studying the word of God. The devil knows that when you study the Bible, you get empowered and positioned for exploits, so he would do everything possible to make sure you don’t study. Therefore, do not give him the chance to discourage you or manipulate you otherwise. The studies of the scripture are so rewarding to the point the Bible says, “…blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, no stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law, he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper…” Psalms 1:1-3 (NKJV). Did you see that? When you study the bible always, it says you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters that brings forth fruits in its season. Beloved, go and do the right thing and I guarantee you, that the blessings of God will manifest in your life in ways you never imagine. Interestingly, when you are a committed Bible student, you will have the right word for every situation, and nothing shall by any means be impossible unto you. Hallelujah!

TODAY’S RHEMA

When you are a committed Bible student, you will have the right word for every situation, and nothing shall by any means be impossible unto you!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Thank Heavenly Father for teaching me your word and giving me the grace to always study. I decree that as I continue in the word, I am making giant strides and receiving life change revelations that will cause me to do exploits in the name of Jesus. Amen!
