“He (God), raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come…” Ephesians 1:21 (NKJV)

The world we are living now has become very dangerous. The devil is on the loose and is busy afflicting men with all manner of afflictions. Many have suffered and are still suffering from the attacks of the devil. While some others have even passed on as a result of these satanic manipulations and attacks. However, as a child of God, you’ve got to understand that no matter the attack or the affliction out there, God has given you victory through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. You may not feel like it, or look like it but it doesn’t make it wrong. That is just the simple truth. You have the victory through the finished work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. To help you understand this very well, the Bible says, “…God who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” Ephesians 2:4-7 (NKJV). Did you see that? We are seated together with Christ in Heavenly places.

Now, the implication of seating together with Christ in the Heavenly places, is that we are also seated far above all principality and power too. You might say but how did you know this? Well, the Bible say so. The Bible says, “He (God), raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all…” Ephesians 1:19-22 (NKJV). Do you understand now? This lets us know that as Jesus is seated in the Heavenly places far above all principality and power, we are also seated together with Him as well because we are complete in Him (Colossian 2:10), He is our head and we are His body. So, as you journey in your Christian walk, have no fear. No matter the arrows of affliction flying around, no matter the attacks against you, do not forget that you are seated together with Christ in Heavenly places and you are seated far above all principalities and power. You are already in a place of power and advantage, all you need to do, is take advantage of this truth and exercise your authority over the attacks and afflictions and you will always win. Praise God!
