“…so then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham…” Galatians 3:9 (NKJV)
Having understood the fact that we are heirs according to the promise, it is important to understand that, faith is needed to always tap into the reality of this blessing. Without faith, even though you are an heir according to the promise, you may still live in abject poverty. So must use your faith. The bible says “…those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham…” Galatians 3:9 (NKJV). Faith is what gets this blessing working and producing in your life. You must make a conscious decision to keep your faith alive and working so that you can get the full benefit of this blessing. The question is, why do you really need faith to get the blessing activated? First, this blessing we are talking about is spiritual and physical. It is the spiritual (blessing- the promise) that produces the physical (blessings- cars, houses etc.). To connect to it, faith is what is required. In the book of Roman 4:16, the bible says, “…therefore, it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed…” Meaning the connection to the promise is faith. As long as you are able to keep your faith alive, you are sure of the blessing manifesting in your life physically.
Secondly, you need faith because sometimes the reality of life can be very discouraging. For example, as you read this article now, you may not have a job and you are very broke. You may be doing business and it is not going smoothly. You may be expecting a contract but it’s not coming forth. All these realities, can go a long way to intimidate you and make you believe otherwise. But if you can be bold enough to overlook the present reality and keep your gaze on the blessing reality, you will certainly come out of those setbacks you have found yourself. Because no matter your present realities are, the blessing reality is the ultimate and that is what matters. The bible says, “…we do not look at the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal…” 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV). Meaning that which is not seen is eternal and that is what produces the results. Therefore, activate your faith today, be bold to take necessary steps and watch the blessing move into action in your life. Praise God!

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the Abrahamic blessing which is at work in my life through Jesus Christ. I declare today by faith that this blessing is activated in my life and manifesting in everything I do in the name of Jesus. Amen!
