“…and the inhabitants (of Zion) will not say, “I am sick”…”- Isaiah 33:24 (NKJV)

When you accept Jesus as the Lord of your life, you come into a kingdom called Zion which is the city of the living God. As Christians, we live there now. This Kingdom is more real than the present world that you can see.  It has principles, languages and other regulations that govern the kingdom. One of them is that in this kingdom, we do not get sick and we do not say “I am sick”. The reason is that in this kingdom, we have received eternal life and eternal life cannot be afflicted. So no matter what happens to your health, you do not say that you are sick because having to say you are sick means you have agreed that you are actually sick. God wants you to take a stand on His word and live in the consciousness of what He has made available to you but sadly today, not many are living with this reality.

Today when most people experience any kind of symptoms in their body, they say how they feel and in most cases use it as an excuse to lie down in the house the whole day. For some others they immediately rush to the Hospital to try to know what is happening to them and when the test result is out, they believe in it and accept it as the reality. If the reports are bad, they enter into a place of fear and start living in fear which is not the kind of life that God has called us to live. You must understand that God’s word was not given to us as a suggestion, rather it is an instruction. That you felt a pain in your body does not mean you are actually sick. What you are feeling is symptoms, and the devil wants you to acknowledge the symptoms so that it can be turned into sickness. You must come to that place in your life where you draw the line. You’ve got to choose who will be in charge, you or the symptoms? When you are in charge, whatever you feel in your body, you do not acknowledge but you speak God’s words over it. Do not use your mouth to say “I am sick” because when you do, you give power to that confession. Learn, to be calm and apply God’s word. Refuse to say how you feel but say what you want to feel. Don’t be quick to accept that something is wrong with your body. Use your mouth through God’s word to take charge of your body. Maintain your confession of sound health because this is what God expects from you. And remember when you are making these declarations, don’t do it because you are trying to convince yourself, rather do it because this is what you know. When you maintain your ground, that symptom will live you in no time. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

Declare how you want to feel not how you feel!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Father, I thank you for giving me eternal life, I cannot be sick and I refuse to be sick, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am an overcomer and I prophesy that any sickness that comes in contact with my body dies on contact in the name of Jesus. Amen!
