“…. unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain….” —John 12:24 (NKJV)

In my quest to try to understand why some people are very fruitful and some are not, I made a huge discovery that can change any body’s life. I took out time to study the lives of people who were very fruitful and successful in the world today, and I discovered there was one thing that is common amongst them and that is dedication. These folks were very passionate and dedicated to what they were doing and, in the process, they became very fruitful and productive. Beloved, it is important to know that if you want to be fruitful in this world, you must make up your mind to be dedicated to what you do. Some people think that being fruitful is by chance or by coming from a rich family but that’s not true. This is the mind set some folks have that makes them blame everybody for their failure because somehow they feel, if they had better opportunities or came from a rich home, their lives would have been better. Well, as true as this might sound, the greater truth is that real fruitfulness as an individual will not come from your connection with a rich family. Because real fruitfulness in life, comes from a place of personal conviction and dedication to the things that you do and it doesn’t matter where you are or what you are, it is who you are.

If you are dedicated, you will be fruitful in all things because your dedication goes a long way to determine the kind of opportunities that come to you and how much you will get through those opportunities. So, I encourage you to consider cultivating the habit of being dedicated to what you do. The Bible said to us in our opening scripture, “…. unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain….” John 12:24 (NKJV) letting us know that until a man is wholly and fully given to what he does, he can’t be fruitful in what he does. A man once said, “when your life becomes a seed, then the world becomes your harvest field” meaning that when your life has been sown as a seed, harvest becomes the order of the day. So, what are you waiting for? Begin this day to be dedicated to what you do, because your dedication brings out your potential and your potential brings in the harvest. Praise God!
