“…make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises…” Psalms 98:4 (NKJV)

Sometimes, the challenges of life will stop at nothing to make sure that you are frustrated and depressed. It will make sure you come to a point where you begin to regret being born. But you see as a Christian, never allow the challenges of life overwhelm you to the point that you start regretting ever coming to this world. Because irrespective of the challenges you face, life is still a gift and it’s a privilege to be alive. I quite understand that sometimes, the pressures might be high, but beloved, do not let those pressures define who you become. You must always understand that irrespective of the challenges you are going through, there are still a lot of prospects that await you in your future. The possibilities before you are greater than the challenges holding you back. Therefore, refuse to be overwhelmed by the challenges you go through. Rather celebrate the gift of life and the privilege of living. I know this might sound strange but the truth remains that, it is when you celebrate the gift of life that is when things begin to ease out for you.

So I admonish you today to overlook the pains you are going through today and lift up your hands in thanksgiving for all that God has done for you. Remember there are lots of people who wished to see today, but they could not because the calamities of life took them away. So you who have the privilege of being alive should appreciate it and rejoice in the Lord, knowing well that, “…our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory…”2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV). Therefore, rejoice no matter what you face because the challenges you face today are temporary, but the victories that lie ahead of you are eternal. Glory to God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

Irrespective of the challenges you are facing, life is still a gift and to be alive is a privilege!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Thank you, heavenly father, for reminding me of how precious life is, I choose to celebrate every day of my life, the gift of life and the privilege of living because I know that as I do, my possibilities are endless and my victories are established in the name of Jesus. Amen!
