“…all the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the son of David? But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons that this fellow drives out demons…” Matthew 12:23-24 (NKJV)

Having been around believers with different views and opinions, it’s disturbing to say that there are so many people who pose themselves as believers but are not. They have absolutely no knowledge of the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Having confessed the Lordship of Jesus Christ, it’s still uncertain who their confession was to, as they live in doubt of the miracles achieved by the Holy Spirit. So am asking this question to everyone who has given his life to Jesus, “…have you come to that point in your life where you feel some miracles are too good to be true?” Or are you a Christian who believe that miracles don’t just happen? What do you say when you see the blind eyes pop open, or hear that a lame man began to walk? Have you joined those who say, “They were paid, to pretend they received a miracle…” have you joined those who say, “He is using black magic.”

Well, I think it would be nice for us to be very clear on the meaning of these words. A Christian who talks like this is saying that these kinds of miracles are not possible in the kingdom of God. People who talk like this should be seen as anti-Christ agents because they are no different from the Pharisees. This was exactly how the Pharisees considered the walk of Jesus Chris and He was very clear when He said to them, “…If it is by the Spirit of God I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you…whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters…” Matthew 12:28, 30 (NIV). A true Christian shouldn’t be a part of this sin done against the Holy Spirit, because all miracles are performed by the Holy Spirit. It’s important for all believers to separate themselves from the unbelievers by accepting and appreciating the power and the works of the Holy Spirit through miracles. It is also important for us to note that people who say things like this have never experienced a miracle and guess what they will never experience one. A man can never have or enjoy what he detest, a man will never be a benefactor of what he speaks against. Miracles come to those who desire one and believe in it too. So start desiring and believing in miracles today because that is the secret to receiving yours. Amen!

TODAY’S RHEMA

Miracles come to those who have been able to comprehend the possibility of it!

CONFESSION FOR TODAY

Father, I thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit, who unlocks several miracles in our lives. I declare that miracles are the works of your hands, and am a benefactor of the miracle-working ability of the Holy Spirit. So I decree that I am experiencing miracles in my everyday life and through me, others are receiving their miracles as well in Jesus. Amen!
