“…for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…” John 3:16 (NKJV)

Now that we have established the importance of being concerned about other people’s salvation, it is good that we become mindful of our efforts to bring others to salvation because if we don’t, we might live our lives caring only about ourselves and our family members, not remembering that there are people who need salvation, and their salvation is tied to us. You might say “there is a lot going on in my life right now and I don’t have time for this”. Well, it is true that you may be going through a lot, but you see, in the midst of all that you are going through, it is in your best interest to also care about others and their salvation because this can go a very long way to open you up for an unending stream of the miraculous for it is written, “…he who waters will himself be watered…” Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV)

So, it is important to understand that as Christians, we have the responsibility of spreading the good news about salvation to the people in our world. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-19) to reconcile many back to God, which is why we must be concerned about other people’s salvation. Think about the condemnation that already exists in the lives of people who are not in Christ, and let it become your motivation to want to do your part in saving people from this dreadful eternity. When this becomes your motivation, living a fulfilled life becomes the other of the day. So I encourage you to not only live for yourself but try to help others escape this horrible damnation that awaits many on the other side of this world by preaching the good news about Jesus’ finished works on the cross of Calvary. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

There are many out there who are in need of salvation but the irony is that their salvation is tied to you, therefore you have to preach the Gospel!

Confession for the Day

Thank you heavenly father for sending your son Jesus Christ to take my place and making salvation available to me. I thank you for giving me the responsibility of reconciling others to you. I decree that the boldness and motivation to take the message of the Gospel to the people of the world is at work in me and through me many are receiving their salvation in the name of Jesus. Amen!
