Having discussed earlier on how the name of Jesus is the greatest weapon given to us in the body of Christ, It is important that we arm ourselves with the name. When we face challenges, it’s important that we remember the role the name of Jesus can play in securing our victory. When you remember the role of the name and use it, you will definitely come back with a testimony. So arm yourself with this name no matter the odds. I remember some months ago, I saw a very inspiring video of a robbery incident. A young man went to a store to rob and when he got inside with his gun, the lady at the counter whom he was asking to bring out all the money, refused to give him anything. Rather, she commanded the young man to leave the shop in the Name of Jesus. At first it looked like it was a joke, but when she continued asking the guy to leave in the Name of Jesus, the young man had to leave the shop shamefully. He didn’t know what transpired but he was shocked at the confidence of the woman. He came with a gun, but the woman, being abreast of the power in the name of Jesus, came against him in the Name and guess what, it worked. Any other person could have thought, what can the Name do at gunpoint, but she thought differently and got the victory. She is indeed an example of someone who armed herself with the name.
Amazingly, you too can do the same and secure yourself some wonderful victories in life. Now, don’t use the Name once and when you don’t get results, say it’s not working. It shouldn’t be that way, the secret to getting results when you use the Name of Jesus, is when you use it persistently and committedly. So make a conscious decision today and arm yourself with the Name and most importantly, use it. Arrest that health, career or even marital issue with the Name. The Bible says, “…whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through Him…” Colossians 3:17 (NKJV)

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
Glorious God, I praise and adore your Holy name, I thank you for teaching me the importance of arming myself with the name. I decree today that I subdue and overcome in the name of Jesus. And in all that I do, I am making progress like never before in Jesus name. Amen!
