“…but he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does…” James 1:25 (NKJV)

When we take a look at our opening text here, we see something very profound that we must give attention to as believers. It says he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does…” James 1:25 (NKJV). Meaning, if you want to be blessed in all that you do, you must learn to look into the perfect law of liberty which is the word of God and not only so, you have to continue in it and adopt the ways of the scriptures. Sadly, that is not the case today, lots of people complain that they are not seeing the blessings that the scripture speaks about in their lives and yet, they won’t study the Bible, or even go as far as doing what the word says.

However, if something is going to change in your life, you must make a conscious decision to start looking into the perfect law of liberty often because when you do, you learn the ways of God. In fact, the whole essence of looking into the perfect law of liberty is to learn the ways of God, so that you can start living your life according to the dictates of the scriptures. Therefore, I admonish you today, to take this seriously and make it a point of duty to always study the Bible, continue in what it says. If you can do this, and adopt the ways of the scripture in all areas of your life, you will surely be blessed in what you do. It is for this reason our Lord Jesus Christ said, “…whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall…” Matthew 7:24-27 (NKJV). Why? Because they heard the word but did not continue in it or do what it says. However, your case can be different. Choose this day to get into the word of God and adopt the lifestyle of the word. Hallelujah!

TODAY’S RHEMA

If you can do this, and adopt the ways of the scripture in all areas of your life, you will surely be blessed in what you do!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

The word of God is life; therefore, I choose to not only study the word, I will learn from it and adopt its ways in all that I do in the name of Jesus. Amen!
