“…. we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak….” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)

To be very successful in life there are lots of things to learn from the word of God and one of those things is learning to confess the things you believe in God’s word. God‘s word was given to us to change our lives but you see for this change to occur certain steps has to be taken. First, you must hear and receive the word, then after that, you must believe what the word says. Now, believing is so important in the life of a child of God because, in the first place, it is part of what brought him to a place of being a Christian. The Bible lets us know in the book of John 3: 16 that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” From this you discover that believing is so important but it has its place.

As important as it is, it will not bring you salvation; it will not get the job done unless you confess it with your mouth. This is where many people have missed it. They say “oh I believe, I believe” but end up still in the same situation because believing alone does not lead to possession and positioning, confession must be added to it. It is a corresponding action that goes after you believe “…for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation…”- (Romans 10:10). You can see that it is confession that makes salvation possible. So, you see that it is not enough to believe, you have a responsibility to confess what you believe and the secret here is that when you confess what you believe, you give life to it. You give it expression and an opportunity for it to become a reality in your life. Therefore, wait no longer, begin to make those confessions regarding what you believe concerning your health, finances, life and family and you will see everything that concerns you move from glory to glory!
