CUSTODIANS OF PEACE (1)

“…If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men….”Romans 12:18 (NKJV)

Do you know that as believers, God has made us custodians of peace and it is our responsibility to make sure peace is established anywhere we find ourselves? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. God has made us custodians of peace and what this means is that, anywhere we find ourselves, God wants us to be the reason why peace is in that place. 

Now, you might say but how do we make this possible? Well, it is simple. We do that through living in peace with others and making sure that our lifestyle is such that promotes peace. You know there are people today in the world, who are not peaceful at all. Anywhere they go, they create problems and scores of people end up losing their lives and properties which shouldn’t be the case. 

So, as believers we ought to ensure that through us peace is established anywhere we find ourselves. In our opening text, the Bible says “…If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men…”Romans 12:18 (NKJV). In Hebrews 12:14, the Bible says “…pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord…”Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV). So, make a conscious decision to be a custodian of peace in your catchment area. Be the reason why there is peace in your sphere of contact. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Father, am grateful for making me a custodian of peace. I thank you for giving me the grace to manifest peace wherever I go and as I do this, I enjoy peace in all areas of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
