‭‭”…I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work…” John 9:4 (KJV)

It’s a new year and one of the things you are supposed to focus on now is your goals for the year. It is true that the Bible says, “…‭‭there are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand…” Proverbs 19:21, but you still need to have goals. There must be certain things you want to do and achieve this year, the way to go about it so that you can bring it to life is by having goals. When you have goals, you will not sit down idle or confused because you know what you are supposed to be doing par time. When you have goals, it becomes easy to take action. Sadly, many people today do not have goals. They have lots of dreams in their heart that have remained a dream because they have no goals.

Our Lord Jesus Christ knew the importance of goals and he was aggressive with it. He said, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work…” John 9:4 (KJV). This statement, makes us understand that He was particular about what He was supposed to do. The question is, are you particular about the things you are supposed to do? Well, you should because dreams only come to life when we give them the desired attention. So, I encourage you today to become aggressive about your goals and if you don’t have one, now is the time to set some achievable goals for your life and be aggressive about it praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Until there are goals to pursue, forget about achieving anything!

Confession for the Day

Thank you, Father, for revealing to me the importance of being aggressive with my goals. I choose this day to take this seriously and as I go about my goals, I receive grace to achieve every one of them in Jesus’ name. Amen.
