CLING TO NO ONE ELSE BUT GOD

“…Oh Lord God, You have begun to show your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as Yours?” Deuteronomy 3:24 (KJV)

There are times in you when you rediscover God as the God of miracles because there are some things that only He can do for you. He is called the Omniscient God because there is no situation beyond Him. You will see him show up at the last minute, manifesting His glory in your life, and you will know that this can only be God. But you must learn to cling on to Him and watch Him do what He knows best to do. I know that this is sometimes difficult to do, but there are some situations and circumstances in life that no man can handle. When you come to this realization, all you can do is rely on God. He alone has the solution.

When your life is easy and everything around you seems to be going smoothly, you may think that you don’t need God or His power in life. But the reverse is usually the case. It’s better to know God and call on Him when things are easy, so that when the time comes for your faith to be tested, you will be able to persevere and wait for Him to come through for you. If you put your hope in money, friends, or connections, permit me to inform you that you will be disappointed. Money can’t change all situations. There are situations beyond money or human connections.

An example of such a situation was during the days of King David when his son Absalom decided to steal the throne from his father. He made himself king while David was still alive. The Bible records that, “Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet then you shall say, ‘Absalom reigns in Hebron!’ “2 Samuel 15:10 (NKJV). At that time, King David had no one else to save him but God, and when he prayed, God saved him from the plans of Absalom. Today, God wants you to completely depend on him alone to save you. If you put your faith in Him concerning that difficulty you have been facing, He will surely come through in your life because He alone knows how to best give you a solution. Remember, no one else but God can get the job done. Praise God!

Glorious Father I thank you for the grace and mercy that I enjoy. I thank you for being my all and being there for me every time that I need you. I decree that my focus will continually be on you and your Word and nothing shall take my eyes of you in Jesus name. Amen!
