“…for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them…” —Ephesians 2:8

I have seen the way many who have received salvation still cry and complain about the circumstances that they have found themselves in life as though they have not received salvation. I have seen the way many who have received salvation still grope in darkness and it bothers me a lot. Because a man who has received salvation, has been set aside to live an overcoming life. But sadly, not many know this and so they end up living the same kind of life those who have not received salvation live. Beloved, if there is anything you must know, it’s that salvation has benefits. It is not an empty walk; it is a gift which God has given to us to live the higher life in Christ. It is a gift God has given to us to indicate that we are free from the dominion of darkness (Colossians 1:13) and that we are not subject to the corrupting influences of this world. Above all, it is a calling unto fellowship with God. You can’t be in fellowship with God and be poor. You can’t be in fellowship with God and be oppressed or disadvantaged. When you understand the kind of benefits that you have received through salvation, you will refuse to complain or cry like those who are in the world.

You must understand that, through salvation, the kingdom of darkness no longer has any legal grounds in your life; therefore, they cannot operate in your life legally. You must understand that through salvation, you are at peace with God. He who could have poured His anger on you and caused things not to work in your life, is not angry with you but rather at peace with you. Therefore, there is nothing to hold you back. The devil has no hold on you and God is not angry with you, you are at an advantage. So, take advantage of this truth and begin to live above the circumstances of life. Stop whining and refuse to cower in the face of adversity but be conscious of your salvation because it has benefits. The Psalmist by revelation prayed a prayer saying “…remember me, oh Lord with the favor You have towards your people…visit me with Your salvation, that I may see the benefits of the Your chosen ones…” Psalm 106:4-5 He understood that the chosen ones (the saved) have benefits, so enjoy all that God has brought to you through salvation. If you have not accepted Christ into your life, it means you are not saved. So, if you want to receive this salvation and enjoy the benefits, please refer to the prayer of salvation behind this book. God bless you!

Salvation is not an empty walk, it has benefits!

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for giving me the gift of salvation, I am so grateful because it is indeed a privilege to be saved. I declare that henceforth, I will not toil with my salvation but take advantage of it and maximize it to its full measure in my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
