“….and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…” John 8:32 (NKJV)

Beloved, do you want to experience the liberty of the Spirit of God in certain areas of your life? You must make a conscious decision to stand for the truth because the truth is the liberating factor that is required to live a life of victory and liberty. Refuse know the truth and not do it, refuse to know the truth and try to twist it. Such things do not help and it will never help. Over the years, I have met with people who know the truth in the scripture but try to twist it and get another interpretation of it, all because they don’t want to stand for the truth. But your case should be different because you are now in Christ Jesus. In Him, you must do all you can to stand for the truth so that the liberating force of truth can speak in your life and make you free.

So be an advocate of the truth and let it show in your life and dealings. If you don’t know so much about the truth in any area of life, don’t hesitate to go back to the scriptures and dig in deep. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and open up your understanding and He will gladly do that. Because His main job is to show you and teach you truth in God’s word so that you can grow in the truth and live by the truth. You might say but what exactly is the truth? The truth is God’s word (John 17:17), it is anything supported by God in the scripture, and when you stand for it, it will set you apart. Joseph in the bible was one man that stood for the truth. When his master’s wife wanted to sleep with him by all means, he didn’t compromise. He stood for the truth and said, “…my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? Genesis 39:8-9 (NKJV). Did you see that? He knew the truth and stood for it, and so should you. Therefore, I admonish you today to stand up for the truth. Are you a young man in a relationship? Stand up for the truth. Are you married or doing business? Stand up for the truth. Are you working for somebody or in charge of an entity? Stand up for the truth. Are you called to bear witness in court? Don’t bear false witness and stand up for the truth. Are you handling the work of God? Stand up for the truth, because the truth the bible says will make you free and it sanctifies you (John 17:17). Praise God!

Truth is the liberating factor that is needed to help you live a life of victory and liberty, therefore stand for the truth!

Thank you, heavenly Father, for helping me to know the truth, I decree that I will continue to stand for the truth now and all the days of my life and nothing will make me compromise in Jesus name. Amen!
