“…put on the whole Armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil…” Ephesians 6:11 (NKJV)

One thing a Christian must come to terms with is that; there will always be something to defeat, there will always be a devil in every level that needs to be brought down. Often times people think, if they are faced with a situation or an opposition, they just need to pray. Beloved, Inasmuch as prayer is very good, I’m sorry to announce to you that, prayer alone is not enough.

In the opening text, we see Paul the Apostle addressing the church in Ephesus, and one of the things he said to them was that they should put on the whole Armor of God so that they can stand against the strategies of Satan. This, in essence, means that he was advising them to use everything they have to fight against the devil and his plans. According to the apostle, when you find out that you need to fight your way out of several situations, as you think of prayers, think of fasting too, and as you think about fasting think about sowing seeds, and as you think about sowing seeds also think about making vows. And as you think about making vows, think about worship, and think about praise as well. Beloved the list is endless, but the bottom line of everything is that, when in warfare, we need to use everything God has shown us through His word to fight because prayer alone is not enough. He also went further to say; “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:16, 18 (NKJV). Did you see that? So give that issue everything you have got and am telling you, you will emerge a winner.

TODAY’S RHEMA

It’s good to pray, but to your prayer add the word, add fasting, add faith and finally add your seed!

CONFESSION OF THE DAY

Dear Heavenly Father! I thank you because you have given me everything I need to triumph in life. I thank you because with all you have made available to me, I will always win in life. Amen!
