“…this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it…”- Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

When God was commissioning Joshua on His assignment, God said few words to Him that we are going to be emphasizing on today. God said “…this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it…”- Joshua 1:8 (NKJV). Now, when you take a look at what God said to Joshua, it spoke so much on the importance of meditation. God told Joshua to meditate on the book of the law day and night, that he may observe to do what is in it. Now, part of meditating on the book of the law that I want to point out today, is meditating on the faithfulness of God described to us in the book of the law. When you study the scriptures, you see that it is replete with the faithfulness of God. The question is, what is the significance of this? It simple, don’t ignore them because they help to build your faith in God and stay your faith in His word and ability. Sometimes, the challenges of life tends to drain your faith in God and make you believe that God isn’t faithful. In most cases they drive you to that point where you start asking questions about the faith. But do not give in to such deception. The devil is only trying to get you to question your faith walk and discredit it. So instead of thinking the wrong thoughts, take out time to meditate on the faithfulness of God and let it mean the world to you. If you can come to terms with His faithfulness, there is no telling what could happen in your life in few months.

Therefore, think about these things and learn to meditate on the faithfulness of God. Anytime you feel you are losing sight of it, go back to the scripture and renew your mind with His faithfulness. If you can live every day in the reality of His faithfulness, doubt will disappear, fear of the unknown will fade away and faith will be established. Halleluiah!
