“…for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith…” Romans 1:17 (NKJV)

I remember many years ago as a young Christian, I heard so much about the message of faith, that I realized that my life depended on it. I realized that if anything was going to happen in my life, I had to use my faith. So I kept trying to see what I could do with my faith; but at some point, I grew weary of acting in faith because I felt that, at least there were some things in life that I should get without having to use my faith. I didn’t know I was training for my future. I remembered asking a friend this question, “must one use faith for everything?” He laughed and said, “The just shall live by faith”.

Now, I said all that to say this, there are people today who might be facing the same frustrations I faced back then and are asking this same question. Well, the answer is yes. because that is the Christian life. There is no other way out except the way of faith. Why? You may ask. Faith in this kingdom is a law. It is the law required to convert God’s promises into material reality. Without it, there are some things, you will not be able to enjoy in God and there are some victories that you will not be able to get. Therefore, it is important that you take this seriously and start taking the faith approach. Stop thinking that some things should work out because you wish for for them. If you do not stake your faith on it and believe that it is yours, they may never happen. Stop looking for a quick fix because if you keep doing that, a day will come when nothing will be able to save you except your faith. And if you have not been exercising your faith, you will be left with nothing else. So make a conscious decision today to take the faith-approach. It is all you need to live a life of victory as a Christian and subdue the challenges of life. The Bible says, “…whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith…” 1 John 5:4 (NKJV)

Glorious and ever-living Father, I thank you for imparting faith into my spirit, I will continue to live by faith and not by sight. I will continue to make giant strides by faith and overcome by faith because I know who I am and I know what I’ve got. Halleluiah!
