“…give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom…” Luke 6:38 (NKJV)

As the blessings of God increase in your life, do you ever think of letting it flow to others? Do you try to let your abundance become a supply for the people around you? Well, if you have never thought about it, I am giving you an idea now that can change your life completely. When God blesses you, He does that because He wants you to become a blessing to others, He wants you to be a channel through which He will reach out to others. But you must be willing to cooperate with God and make it happen. A lot of times, most people think the reason they are been blessed is because of them and their family alone, but it goes beyond that. While God is looking out for you by bringing you His blessings, He expects you to look out for others as well. Therefore it is important that you become conscious of this truth. In life there are two kinds of people, there are those who are only thinking of themselves alone. They don’t care about others, they are only after themselves and their families. But there are those who care not only for themselves but about others as well. When they plan on how to utilize God’s blessings in their lives, they plan with others in mind. These set of people are those God is looking out for and as a Christian you must fall into this category because it is the best place to be in life. When you function in this category, you will always be on top and no matter how the devil tries to drag you down, he will not succeed because you play by a different set of rules.

So I admonish you to let God’s blessings in your life flow to others, because it will bring you increase for it is written “…there is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty…” – Proverbs 11:24 (NKJV). Did you see that? It means when you allow God’s blessings in your life flow to others, increase becomes the order of the day. Therefore, cultivate the attitude of giving today because “…the generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself…” – Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV). Halleluiah!
