“…likewise, the Spirit also helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered…” Romans 8:26 (NKJV)

One thing is to pray at all times because the Bible encourages us to do so in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:17, but you see another thing is to pray by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Over the years, I have seen many of God’s people pray without ceasing but not through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So they end up praying again and again without getting results, you know why? Because while it was good that they prayed, they may not have dealt with the root of the problem. So, even though they prayed, they didn’t really fix the real issue that was wrong. Beloved, if you truly want to see results when you pray, you must learn to pray through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who searches for all things, yes, the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10), and He is also the one who knows the heart of a man and knows what that man is going through in his life. He is the one who can direct the man to pray so that the real issues regarding his life will be dealt with.

Therefore, the Holy Spirit is not to be ignored in the place of prayer, and this is why you must always learn to pray in tongues because the moment you begin to pray in tongues, you allow Him to guide you in what to pray for and give you utterances on how to pray regarding that matter. Over the years, there have been several times the Holy Spirit has done this with me. In the course of prayers, I will receive a knowing or a revelation in the line I need to pray, and all I do is switch to that which the Holy Spirit has laid in my heart to pray about, and each time I do that, I always see the results. So, I admonish you today to let the Holy Spirit guide you in prayers. In most cases, He might take over, and you will find yourself groaning in the spirit. Each time this begins to happen to me, I always know that real-time issues are being dealt with, and whenever I am done with such prayers, this peace comes on me as proof that indeed something has been taken care of in the realm of the Spirit. So, stop ignoring the Holy Spirit and start allowing Him to let Him guide you in prayers. Halleluiah!

Stop ignoring the Holy Spirit and let Him guide you in prayers!

Glorious and ever-living Father, I am grateful for this wonderful truth you have brought to me today. I declare this day that the Holy Spirit will no longer be ignored in my times of prayer. I choose to start paying attention to Him and His guidance in prayers, and as I do, I am excelling in my prayer life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
