“….so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God…”

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

The moment we received Jesus into our lives, faith was imparted into our Spirit for it is written, “…God has dealt to each one a measure of faith…” Romans 12:3 (NKJV). Now, this faith is only a measure. If it is going to deliver to you, all that you require, and cause you to walk in victory consistently, you will have to invest in it regularly. Why? You may ask; well, because what you have now is a seed which requires growth. Although, even as a seed, it can still deliver to you unimaginable results. But you see God wants you to grow your faith. So that the day you are faced with certain challenges, your faith will be strengthened enough to do its job.  You must understand that there is weak faith (Romans 4:19) and there is strong faith (Romans 4:20). The only thing that makes your faith strong is when you spend time to nurture your faith and make the necessary investment in it. It is not enough for you to have been dealt with the measure of faith. You have a responsibility to make sure the muscles of your faith are strengthened enough to deliver to you results when you need it most.

Therefore, make a conscious decision to invest in your faith. You might say, but how do I go about this? Well, it is very simple. You can do that with the Word of God. God’s Word is the material given to us to nurture and grow our faith. It is what you require to make your faith functional and active, for it is written, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God…” Romans 10:17 (NKJV). So your responsibility is to give your attention to the word at all times. Study it, hear it and meditate on it. There is nothing as powerful as these three things I just mentioned. When you engage in these three activities all the time, every situation will bow to you, because “…the conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith…” 1 John 5:4 (MSG). Hallelujah!

Your faith as a seed needs to be nurtured to produce maximum results!

My faith is alive and active. I will continue to invest in my faith, live by faith and walk by faith because I know that it is the victory that overcomes the world. Halleluiah!
