“…in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light And God saw the light that it was good.…” Genesis 1:1-4 (NKJV)

As a believer, one of the things you must learn to do in your life is to dominate it with creative words. It’s not enough to speak positive words; your words should be creative because it is only when your words are creative that they can change your life and situation. Most of the time, people are not conscious of what they say, so they end up saying just anything. But the question you should always ask yourself is, the things I say, does it build my life in any way? If you ask this question, it will help you to use your words to change your life. When you look at our opening text, we see how God used creative words to create the world. The book of Genesis 1-2, speaks of how God created the Heavens and the earth with words. Now, when we read such things, it reveals to us the possibilities of speaking creative words.

So, I encourage you today to start dominating your life with creative words. Stop complaining and start creating what you want to see. Maybe you do not have a job, or you are looking for contracts for your business, start declaring it forth. Use your words and create the circumstances that will bring forth the contract. You might say, but is it that easy Well, it is not just easy, it is that simple. However, the key here is that you must believe in what you are doing. Have a full understanding of what you are doing and believe that it works because it truly works. One of the reasons your words are powerful and go in the direction of what you say is because the Bible says, “…death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits…” Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) The amplified version says, “…death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequence of their words…” Proverbs 18:21 (AMP). Did you see that? Our words are powerful, and they can either bring death or life. Therefore, learn to use them to create the life you want to see, and you will be the one to enjoy it in the long run. Praise God!
